I am not sure what the MFT is... But it looks to me it is simpler to pull the neg battery cable that getting at that fuse panel. Can I assume that the netgative battery terminal will do the trick? I would hate to think I would have to pull the cable from the HVB. Sapp. :)

MFT is My Ford Touch.

You don't want to do anything to the HVB.  That voltage can kill you in an instant.

Pulling the 12 volt battery negative cable will shut everything down.  Leave it disconnected for a couple of minutes to be sure that all capacitors get discharged.

There IS a high voltage disconnect for that battery behind the rear passenger seat of the vehicle, but if the car is powered down and you aren't servicing anything the HVB directly connects to such as the traction motor, heater, or A/C compressor, there is no need to pull it if you only want to reset the 12v components (the 300v to 12v converter is also disabled when the car is off, which is partly why the 12v dead battery thread exists).  Also make sure the car is unplugged when you disconnect the 12v if you decide to do it that way.

I updated Monday evening.  Before updating I would regularly see my EV range estimate at 25 miles.  On Tuesday my EV range estimate said 30 miles for the first time ever.  Today, my range estimate said 30 again.  But today I got some weird behavior.  I run my 23 mile morning commute in EV Later with the exception of about 3-5 miles as the other 20 are Hwy.  When I exited the Hwy my range estimate read 26 miles.  As soon as I changed from EV Later to EV Now, it dropped to 20 miles, -6!  I checked and the AC was not on.  I could not come up with any explanation for why it dropped 20% of what the original range estimate indicated.  I have never seen the car drop the range estimate simply from switching between EV Later and EV Now.

I'm not sure if I have something odd going on or if I've just had some strange driving segments messing with the calculations.  Anyway, thought I would share.

When you select EV later they reserve something like 92% of the battery.  Watch the left screen and it will tell you how much was reserved.  If you park the car and again start up in EV later they again reserve 92% of whatever is left in the battery.  IT appears that if this is done enough times the HVB will be depleted.

Today the Active Noise Cancellation seems to be working. I believe shutting the car down and firing things back up this morning did the trick. So, we are all good now.

Io have looked around for a shop manual but have not found one. It would be interesting to know what the diagnostic procedure is tomtestmfir proper operation of the Active Noise Cancellation .

What I was accustomed to is the EV range gradually reducing as I progressed in EV Later.  What you explain above points to that.  What happened was I started with 30 miles and started in EV Later.  As I commuted that gradually went down to 26 miles.  However, immediately after hitting the button for EV Now, it dropped another 6 miles to 20.  I do not consider that normal as in it has never done that in 4 months of driving this way.

Things got interesting yesterday when going home.  When I started the car to leave work the range read 25.  So I got back 5 of the 6 lost simply from the car being turned off and back on.  My total EV miles for the day's driving was 31.5 of 44.7 driven with 3 miles coming from regen due to my 95% Hwy commute.

This morning I started out with 29 miles and drove just as I have been for 4 months.  Today it operated normally as it has in the past.
