Fuelly.com adds the Fusion Energi to their database

I have been talking with Fuelly.com and finally got them to add and separate the Fusion Energi as a car/engine type. So if you are using in Fuelly to track your fill-ups, you can now set it to the correct car type. And if not, go and do :)

NOTE: Fuelly is not tracking power use so this only tracks the gas used to the miles traveled. They may do something with MPGe in the future.

Lots of thanks to Fuelly for listening and responding.

That's great news!

Thanks for your efforts.

I set it up a few months ago...Someday I'll get to use it, although it's been over 1,800 miles and I still haven't had to fill the tank.

I track MPGe on fuelly.  I have a kWh meter to measure all charges to the battery.  At the end of the month I convert the total charge number to to equivalent gallons of gasoline.  I also record any gasoline used from the trip meter.  I do not record actual gasoline fill-ups on fuelly.  I add gasoline used to equivalent gallons and record that as a fill up.  The cost value is calculated from what the electricity cost plus what I paid for the 2 gallons of gasoline I put in the tank in May just to verify the fueling system was working.  I don't care about the cost figures on Fuelly but you have to enter something.

If you will notice, Fuelly is waiting for me to enter a second tank (so it won't give me an MPG yet) and it is looking like I'll get a little better than the 2315 I had on the first one.

EDIT: Finally tank #4 so they are computing miles per gallon of gas... Suck it ICEs.

Updated my car and changed the model from Other to the Fusion Energi from the pick list. There are 16 on there already.

TX, you may need to update your link to Fuelly to http://www.fuelly.com/driver/txnrg/fusion-energi

right now it tries to go to http://www.fuelly.com/driver/TxNRG/fusion-energi-titanium

FYI: Your car may not show up on browse (http://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/fusion%20energi/2013) until your 3rd fill-up and I know that may take a while.

Clicking on [show All] should show them all: http://www.fordfusionenergiforum.com/topic/1293-fuellycom-adds-the-fusion-energi-to-their-database/

I've only filled up once at 1400 miles and it is showing MPGs for me for the one fill up.

I screwed around with it for a long time, it wouldn't give me miles tracked, but on the site I see MPG, just not on the little icon below.

It also doesn't seem to like the the car CAME with a full tank...

It does compute a 207 mpg for me, but doesn't seem to acknowledge that under miles tracked. I even entered a fake tank today, still no miles tracked.

At the rate of a tank every 2 months or so, I guess it'll show up around December...  EDIT: and it did, 15-DEC-2013.

Oddly I cannot make it show miles tracked, despite there being 2315 miles out of the first tank clearly shown, now it is showing 8100 miles so.. huh, there you go.

  • 8 months later...

Thread revival.  :read:

I've got almost 30 fill ups since October on my Fuelly log book.  I'm all over the map on mileage.  I really like the flexibility of the car.  Recently I've been able to drive the 26 miles to work on the juice only and most of the way home after charging there.  That's the recent spike in MPG.
