Went back to Ford

We were looking at the Fords and came across the Ford Fussion Energi and fell in love with it.  Now working on learning how it works, because the dealer is clueless.

Sad to say, but ain't it so. The Energi has been pretty much trouble free so the dealer learning curve is going to be a looooooong one! I thought you lived in Nashville, vincegil. :hysterical: Welcome to the Forum!

It works surprisingly well.

My primary criteria for buying the car: Had to be able to comfortably fit 2 car seats in back and wife and in front (both ~6' tall), needed to be comfortable year round, needed to get good mpg. Must be "interesting" enough to keep the car for 10 years. I was able to justify the higher initial purchase cost solely on the $ saved on fuel, but of course that was all theoretical. After a couple months of driving, I am actually experiencing BETTER mpg then I initially thought. My commute is over a twisty hill, and was averaging 18mpg when commuting in my Acura TL (2mpg under city mpg rating), now I am averaging 60mpg, with a monthly increase in electric bill of about $20.

Look in the Seattle area for sale 2013 car and see if its worth the drive to save some $. I was seeing 11k-12k off MSRP last I looked. The 204s start 4k cheaper so really that’s only 7-8k cheaper minus any ford deals (not sure what is available right now).

vincegil,

Glad you are loving your Fusion Energi. :)

Check out Owner.Ford.com for some helpful info about your new car. There's a link near the bottom for videos that are pretty good at explaining a lot of the technology you'll be using. Let me know if you have any questions!
