Navigation system not tracking to roads

6000 miles, had vehicle for 4 months.

At least 6 times while using the nav system the vehicle location on the nav system gets stuck on side streets next to the road I am actually on (mostly on freeways) it then takes a long time for it to get to being accurately represented.

Had the built in nav on my 2006 lexus that was far superior to the ford 2014. Very disappointed that the technology is not performing.

Hi Blaze1145,

Does the screen freeze, or does the system show you in the wrong location while it continues to move? Have you brought this to your dealership's attention already?

Sorry this is posted in the wrong place

The nav system is frequently tracks parallel to my actual location. If I had to guess it is off by about 50 yards

It tracks where there are no roads and jumps street to street if there is an available parallel road

The screen does not freeze

This is not how your system is designed to function. I suggest scheduling an appointment with your dealership to have them diagnose the cause of this issue.
