Headrest DVD System

I'm thinking of ordering a set of headrest dvd system for my 3 kids when we go on long trips.  Anyone contemplating on getting this done?  What brand and are you planning on installing yourself?

Question and potential alternative... how much is the DVD headrest you're looking at?  And my thought for an alternative... why not a 7" tablet, or 2?  At least then the technology isn't locked to the car... you can take it with you, in any vehicle.  The car does have 120v in the back seat... could plug in a high current USB charger with 2 ports for constant power.  They also have headphone splitters available so your kids can all listen in to 1 device.  The resolution of a tablet is a lot higher too and can do more (games, internet through your phone's wifi hotspot, etc)

 

I personally wouldn't go with the in-car entertainment system, but that's my own view.  :)  I took a quick look on Amazon and the ratings on a lot of those headrest systems aren't all that fantastic.  You could head to a local store and check out a few in person.

I found what I'm looking for. I forgot the brand because I ordered in my office but it is specific to our car, down to the same leather and even the color of the stitching. I like the look of an LCD headrest because there are no wires or cables hanging. I like the look of a nice finished system. I'll post pics when it has been installed.
