Linking Remote to a Door (Page 135 of Manual)

Recommended Posts

Has anyone gotten this to work?  I can only get the 1st two beeps while holding down the door button, but never the 3rd button when pressing the "lock" button on the remote. Page 135 of the manual.

Linking a Pre-Set Position to your

Remote Control or Intelligent Access Key

Your vehicle can save the pre-set memory

positions for up to three remote controls

or intelligent access (IA) keys.

1. With the ignition on, move the memory

positions to the desired positions.

2. Press and hold the desired pre-set

button for about five seconds. A chime

will sound after about two seconds.

Continue holding until a second chime

is heard.

3. Within three seconds, press the lock

button on the remote control you are

linking. A single chime will sound.

Thanks,

Steve

Yes, easy entry/exit is enabled.  Everything seems to be working properly except for trying to get the remote programmed.  Was there any trick?

After the 2nd beep, I've kept the door button 1 pressed and pressed and held the "lock" button on the remote for about 30 seconds...nothing.

After the 2nd beep, I've kept the door button 1 pressed and pressed and released the "lock" button on the remote...nothing.
