My new 2015 FFE is exhibiting this same behavior but was built in early September 2014. Anyone else with a newer vehicle seeing this old documented behavior? I'll contact my dealer and see if this old update still applies.The dealer needs to update the FCIM to the latest calibration. You could possibly describe the issue from the SSM and see if that would work. If you have a good relationship with the SA you may be able to describe the issue and ask them to update the FCIM for you. Hopefully the SA can figure out how to bill it to Ford to get reimbursed. I asked my dealer to do this the last time I was there and the said they did, but it seems like there are still some situations where I can try to cycle the AC button and it won't change. The technician said he checked my car's TSBs and didn't find any to apply. I have no idea if that's true, I do have one of the new 2015 models. He then proceeded to tell me that the AC going on/off was normal operation... Unfortunately it's difficult to demonstrate the issue when it's only 20 degrees outside. I'll probably have to try again, maybe at another dealership next summer when I need the A/C once more. At least the heater works properly. I think you'd be ok because as I recall it was for models built before a certain date in 2013, which included some 2014 models. But it would still be good to know what you find out or notice. I also haven't gone back to ask due to the difficulty in demonstrating the issue. Another way I'm sure it is happening is when you press the AC button with a full charge and see the EV miles drop off a lot, as expected, but then try to turn it off again and they stay the same. If we vent the sunroof the airflow through the vents greatly increases. Every car I've owned with automatic climate control has done this (2000 Chrysler LHS, 2001 Saab 9-5, 2003 Saab 9-5, 2006 Honda Accord Hybrid, 2013 Fusion Hybrid, 2013 Prius, 2013 Focus Electric, 2013 Fusion Energi). Cars I've owned with completely manual climate control have not had air flowing through the vents (1998 Chevy Lumina, 2002 Saab 9-3).
