MJK_NJ Posted June 18, 2014 at 01:25 AM Report Share Posted June 18, 2014 at 01:25 AM I've had my '14 Fusion Energi for a week now. I got a Titanium in Tuxedo Black with the charcoal interior. In terms of options, I got voice/navigation, heated steering wheel, heated/cooled seats, adaptive cruise control, all weather premium mats, and driver assistance package. The only option I didn't get was the Parking Assist; I can't remember the last time I had to parallel park anywhere. I bought just a few days before the fuel ratings changed, so I guess I'll be getting a $850 check from Ford later this summer. So far, so good. In the last week, with a mix of local driving and semi-long highway driving, I've averaged about 60mpg. I've been running lots of EV-only local errands, so my fuel economy numbers are doing really good. For a charger, I bought the TurboCord from Aerovironments....which has a 240/110v adapter. At 240v, my car gets a full charge from empty in/about 2 hours. At 110v, my car fills up just under 7 hours. I was very close to getting a Bosch charger, but when I saw how simply/small the TurboCord was, it made sense to get that. Wiring up a 240v line to my garage was fairly easy.
