musicmafia Posted July 14, 2014 at 09:02 PM Report Share Posted July 14, 2014 at 09:02 PM 2014 models you could order without spoiler. 2015 not showing this option anymore?
looking372 Posted July 15, 2014 at 12:10 PM Report Share Posted July 15, 2014 at 12:10 PM I ordered one this past Saturday and the dealer confirmed no delete option. Which was a bummer because I really didn't want the spoiler but wanted the Titanium. Looks like I'm getting a spoiler
murphy Posted July 15, 2014 at 02:56 PM Report Share Posted July 15, 2014 at 02:56 PM Probably a cost reduction move. Now they don't have to have two different trunk lids and two different sets of torsion bars.

Which was a bummer because I really didn't want the spoiler but wanted the Titanium. Looks like I'm getting a spoilerI didn't want the spoiler either but was limited to dealer stock on my '14. Think it's sort of goofy looking. But I will say that, like most things in life, you do get used to it after a while. Curious as to why FMC would remove the ability to delete, especially when the spoiler does not come on the other Fusion models.

Now they don't have to have two different trunk lids and two different sets of torsion bars. Unless they are adding the spoiler to all the other models (SE, etc.), they still have two different trunk lids.
Eric4539 Posted July 16, 2014 at 03:07 AM Report Share Posted July 16, 2014 at 03:07 AM If I am reading the 2015 Energi Titanium Standard and Optional features correctly, it does list the Spoiler Delete as Optional. It also says the spoiler can be ordered on the SE. The available spoiler, standard on the Titanium and through packages on the SE, provides a sporty touch to the Fusion.
