Would love to know how you feel about this? I guess I should be happy since the revised ratings would not have changed my decision to purchase it. This move damaged Ford's credibility in the PHEV and Hybrid marketplace. The move was warranted on the Hybrid models, but we (and most others) are greatly exceeding the original EPA estimates in both mpg in hybrid mode and real world electric only range in the PHEV models. Their initial numbers did not follow the proper testing protocols, so the correct thing to do was to change the numbers. The only choice they really had in the matter was to send goodwill payments to those who had already purchased. Many here may meet/exceed the original numbers, but those who actively seek out a discussion forum aren't always the typical drivers. In order to have a fair comparison of similar products manufacturers have to follow the same testing protocol. These ratings are only a benchmark for comparison.(I actually wonder how much of their testing tweaks were driven by corporate managament desire to upend Toyota.) Several on the hybrid forum have received theirs... my guess is that they are being done by model as it looks like the CMax owners have received their (based on many posts there)... so we are next! I've had my 2013 FFE TI since May 2013 and I still love the car. Much happier with my Ford than I was with the 2004 BMW Z-4 that I sold when I bought my Fusion.
