Leather seat peeling on my 14 FFET

I've owned my FFET for about 3 months now and the leather piping on the lower left side of the drivers seat is starting to peel.  Has anybody else had problems with this?

I have something similar, on my drivers seat and even slightly on the passenger seat, even though I rarely have a passenger. I was going to give it some time to see if it got worse before bringing it up.

Hi gang,

Getting this in front of your dealerships is a great next step. When you're ready to head in, let me know and I'll loop in your regional customer service managers. PM me your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealership; I'll do the rest. :)

@FordService,

I also have noticed the leather piping starting to peel.   Why wouldn't this premature damage be addressed by Ford?

I have owned a FFET for just one year and have 8.6K miles.  I've been extra careful to protect the interior from sun damage, ceramic tint and a heat shield for the windshield.

Updated 07/10/15;

I took my car into the dealer and Ford will replace my seat covers because the premature damage, thanks Ford!

I did find out that the leather seats are coated with a vinyl sealant.  To maintain these seats, treat them like vinyl by using a vinyl cleaner and protect with a vinyl protectant/sealant.  Leather conditioners will not work on these seats but will work on the steering wheel, fyi.
