Synergi Posted August 16, 2014 at 11:09 PM Report Share Posted August 16, 2014 at 11:09 PM I had heard from someone that there is a functionality that allows you to bring up a graphic of the car on the left LCD screen when you are either backing up or pulling into a space that shows how close or far you are from an object. This is in addition to the rear view camera that comes on the big LCD when you put the gear in reverse. I, for the life of me, cannot find it. Does anyone know if this even exists or am I chasing a ghost??

shaggy314 Posted August 18, 2014 at 07:45 PM Report Share Posted August 18, 2014 at 07:45 PM I think they want you look outside the car or the main 8", not the steering wheel 4". I've never seen that on my 2013.

Our car doesn't show any display that tells you how close you are, just the changes in the beeps tell you that.
HotLap Posted September 10, 2014 at 03:31 PM Report Share Posted September 10, 2014 at 03:31 PM Well graphics do come up, but it's just a warning dialogue box stating that the sensors have detected something and are active (front and rear) or which way a vehicle is approaching from the rear (when you are reversing in a parking lot for example and a vehicle is approaching as you back out). Could these be the "graphics" that were being referred to? I like the 8" screen as Ford as both improved the clarity of the reverse camera and the white guidelines that predict the trajectory of the car (in reverse) are a great addition to the existing markings.
