Car unstable when braking heavily

I'm a relatively new owner of a fusion Energi and have worked for many car company headquarters over my career. I mention my background as I've driven many many brands of cars over the years.

Have any of you noticed the car being susceptible to tire skid and a lose backed when you have to brake hard? If it's there, I'm guessing it's because the battery weight is in the back, but I though I'd ask in case I'm not the only one.

I have not noticed anything un-expected. Any slippery surface (rain/snow/construction dust) can cause erratic behavior.

Remember not to try abrupt turning when braking, that will cause the tail end to feel light/lose. If you did turn hard while braking hard, all the weight would be on the front end, then the heavy tail end would try and rotate, with all that inertia, it would feel lose for sure. Racing 101, brake in a straight line.
