Charging port not illuminated during charge

Hi Roywin,

Does the charge ring illuminate at all?

I would check that the Charge Port Light is set to "On".

From your My Ford Touch screen:

Settings (gears icon)

Vehicle

Charge Port Light Ring

On

If it is set to On then it is possible that the fuse needs replacing.  There is a fuse just for the Charge Port Ring (Fuse #46)

Good luck!

During charging my port lights are not on, MFM indicates the car is charging , only getting 14 miles on a charge but not sure if that is the cold or I have another problem. Has anyone seen this before

Hi Roywin,

Have you tried Eric4539's troubleshooting suggestion? If it's still not turning on, please let me know.

Car was not used for a week, in garage but temp was cold. Used the car and ran down the battery. Same no lights when charging, however just plugged it back in ( showed full charge at 16 miles) and now it appears to be working. Will have to see when I run it down again tomorrow

Thanks for the update! Let me know if the concern returns, and I'll check into some additional assistance.
