The customer support tech said that the value charge setting is overridden if the battery is not at 35%. Has anyone heard of that? It's not in the manual. I've never seen this behavior.I believe they're referring to a (pseudo) true state of charge value. The only time i see this behavior is when the EV range is depleted completely. It will charge the hybrid portion then wait for value charge. Mine does not charge the EV range to "10%" outside of value charge. If you plug in the car, the battery fans run to cool the battery, but it may not be charging. At least that is true on my C-Max Energi.
