Question about customer cash and tax credit when leasing a Fusion Energi

My lease on my premium gas eating Infiniti G37 is about up and I am considering a Fusion Energi Titanium.

When I calculate payments on the ford website it is showing  -$5757 Customer Cash.

I am wondering if this includes the Federal Tax Credit.

I can find no details on any ford incentive for that amount. Details just say program #50290.

When I look at the Hybrid version it does not show the incentive.

The last time I looked the tax credit was $4007.  $750 rebates are common.  $1000 for switching a lease from a competitor is also common.

So $4007 + $1000 + $750 = $5757.  The leasing company gets the tax credit, since they own the car.  They usually pass it through to their customer.

Thanks. That makes perfect since, just wanted to know where the number was coming from.

Really looking forward to getting this vehicle!

I had a Premium eating TL before this car, it got about 21 miles to the gal if I was not having too much fun (around 18/19 if I was), so I know what you mean. Now I only go to the gas station if I take a trip somewhere. I do not miss going to the gas station every week.
