gladeplugin Posted September 4, 2015 at 06:27 PM Report Share Posted September 4, 2015 at 06:27 PM I'm shopping for a 2013 Energi, and was wondering how you can spot the adaptive cruise, lane control and driver assist packages from vehicle photos? Looking at the bumpers I can see rear and side facing sensors... I can't see the rear view mirror though, is that a tell-tale of lane keeping features? http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=70520&endYear=2016&modelCode1=FUSION&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&showcaseOwnerId=0&startYear=2012&makeCode1=FORD&listingType=used&listingTypes=used&searchRadius=500&showcaseListingId=0&mmt=[FORD[FUSION[FUSION%257CEnergi%2BSE^FUSION%257CEnergi%2BSE%2BLuxury^FUSION%257CEnergi%2BTitanium]][]]&listingId=408894464&Log=

It does not have the driver assist package. Webview.pdf Edited September 4, 2015 at 06:49 PM by murphy gladeplugin
Eric4539 Posted September 4, 2015 at 11:30 PM Report Share Posted September 4, 2015 at 11:30 PM It's tough to see from the pictures, but murphy supplied the window sticker. You can see from the steering wheel photo that it has Adaptive Cruise Control. The set button has the arrows to increase or decrease the distance from the car in front. Also from outside the car, if you look closely at the front grille next to the license plate on the driver's side, if it is a solid piece then it has Adaptive Cruise. Behind that panel is the sensor. It's hard to see in photos. Murphy has the best proof! If you look at the side mirrors for the car you are interested in you will see the upper outer portion of the mirror has the convex, wide angle piece. That means it doesn't have the Driver Assist Package. Also you can tell from the wiper stalk. If there is the letter A in the windshield icon then you have Rain Sensing Wipers, part of the Driver Assist Package. The turn signal stalk - if it had Lane Keeping Assist you would see that icon on the stalk.

For any Ford vehicle, add the VIN to the end of one of the below URLs: http://fordlabels.webview.biz/webviewhybrid/WindowSticker.aspx?vin=http://services.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin= lonzo71 and Hybridbear
Hybridbear Posted September 8, 2015 at 05:20 PM Report Share Posted September 8, 2015 at 05:20 PM Easiest way is too look at window sticker. If the VIN is not available, you can tell by the pics. The Active Park Assist adds sensors across the front bumper. Adaptive Cruise Control means the lower grille opening won't be open all the way across, but rather will have a solid area on the driver's side. If the car has sensors on the sides behind the rear tires it has BLIS. Since BLIS is part of the same package that includes Lane Keep Assist you can tell if it has LKA by looking for the BLIS sensors in the pictures.
