FusionNAZ Posted September 23, 2015 at 01:17 AM Report Share Posted September 23, 2015 at 01:17 AM (edited) I wanted to share this with everyone who may have lost the small piece of paper with the factory code that is 5 digits. There is a faster and easier way than dissembling the smart fuse box to read the back. You will need both smart keys and a scratch pad for notes: Displaying the Factory Set CodeWith Integrated Keyhead Transmitters Note: You will need to have two programmed passive anti-theft keys for this procedure. To display the factory-set code in the information display: The factory-set code will display for a few seconds. Note: The code may not display until after any other warning messages first display. With Intelligent Access Keys Note: You will need to have two programmed intelligent access keys for this procedure. To display the factory-set code in the information display: E147165 NOTE The factory-set code will appear in the information display for a few seconds. Note: The code may not display until after any other warning messages first display. Open the center console. Insert a key into the small slot under the aux plug (left front inner arm console). Press the START/STOP button once and wait a few seconds. Press the START/STOP button after 5 seconds. Insert the second programmed key into the backup slot, then press the START/STOP button. Press the START/STOP button again and remove the key. Wait a few seconds and the code will appear on the left smart screen. I hope this helps anyone who doesn't have or lost this code. The local dealer wanted $60.00 for this code. So for a little time you can get it yourself. I have updated this specifically for the Ford Fusion Energi. The manual shows how it is done with a regular key. Thanks to Openair's reply I was able to tweak the actual instructions from page 59 of the owners manual. openair Posted September 23, 2015 at 01:37 AM Report Share Posted September 23, 2015 at 01:37 AM These instructions are also in the manual. For the 2014 manual: in the Keyless Entry section of the Locks section, page 59, under the heading "Displaying the Factory Set Code." murphy Posted September 23, 2015 at 09:49 AM Report Share Posted September 23, 2015 at 09:49 AM Are the digits displayed in the correct order in a 2014? They are displayed in reverse order in my 2013.

I am usually last to the party so I thought I would share what I found out. I will have to go read the book and check page 59.
68mustangjim Posted May 21, 2019 at 02:17 PM Report Share Posted May 21, 2019 at 02:17 PM Also the original dealer should be able to provide the codes also once you have proved you are the owner I did this in March 2019 with a Michigan dealer they wanted a copy of driver licence and current registration. In least than thirty minutes I had they codes (above method would not work I only had 1 fob)
