2016 Blue Focus Energi

Talked to my tax accountant the other day and she said to reduce my tax liability I should look at buying one of these cars.  She just bought one.  I live in colorado and will get a 2600 state credit to go along with the 4000 fed credit.  Throw in the rebates and this was a no brainer.

Love the blue and how quiet this vehicle is.  I traded in a 2005 f-150 super crew (was a great truck) that got 13 mpg for this gas sipper.

Lookded at the Cmax and Pries but they were just compact cars.  The Focus is just a beautiful car for an electric.

Just completed my first month with my 2016 Fusion Energi Titanium.  I can see how the gas in the tank can get 'old'!  Just setup the GO Times and the Fusion is warmed up for these first cold, snowy days.  These was one of the things that would drop my mileage in my 2011 Fusion Hybrid. My old Fusion would hardly start to get off gasoline during the winter because my trips were too short.  Doesn't happen with the Energi.  Love the EV Drive system changes.

The Energi will force burn the gasoline in the tank if it gets to 18 months.  It's a sealed system so gasoline will last a lot longer than in a normal car.  That said, if you expect it to go that long, because of no trips that will have to use gasoline, StaBil or equivalent gasoline preservative should be added to the tank.
