Neil Posted January 7, 2016 at 10:00 PM Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 at 10:00 PM I am lucky enough to work for an employer who provides four Level Two charger in the parking garage for free as long as you physically unplug your car within four hours. You can plug it back in as many times as you want, as long as a single plug-in duration does not exceed 4 hours. A couple of days ago I charged my car and unplugged at lunch, and then plugged it back in (fully charged) around 4:00pm. I then set the preconditioning for 85 degrees to be ready at 5:30pm. When i came out the charger read it supplied 1.67kw to my car. it was fully charged when I plugged it in, so all of that power was for the pre-conditioning. i didn't realize it took that much power to warm up the car. lonzo71, jeff_h and Hybridbear
