I've seen numerous other "Fusons" in the wild, so this is obviously a very common problem. I fully expect the "i" to fall off my car a fourth time, since it appears Ford is just replacing the old emblem with the same defective emblems when the dealer fixes it. The next time it happens will probably be past the 3-year warranty, but I'm going to insist the dealer cover it anyway, since replacing a defective part with another defective part isn't really repairing the problem. Not a big deal, but when you've paid for a nice new shiny car, it's annoying to have an obvious physical defect on the exterior. The first time it was the "F," so for a while I was driving a "usion." I figured it was because of the intense heat here. But evidently it is just bad glue or something, so I would definitely take it to the dealer since it is a known problem. The first time I had the F fall off of the door, and the I on the trunk. This last time it was the I. The one that fell off was the driver's side door... need to work on removing the passenger one. I talked to the body shop manager at my local dealer about year ago, he said it was a common problem and that "they are just held on by double-sided tape"....
