Once again -- for the third time in three years -- the "i" fell out of the "Fusion" emblem on the side of the car. I've seen numerous other "Fusons" in the wild, so this is obviously a very common problem.

I fully expect the "i" to fall off my car a fourth time, since it appears Ford is just replacing the old emblem with the same defective emblems when the dealer fixes it.  The next time it happens will probably be past the 3-year warranty, but I'm going to insist the dealer cover it anyway, since replacing a defective part with another defective part isn't really repairing the problem.

Not a big deal, but when you've paid for a nice new shiny car, it's annoying to have an obvious physical defect on the exterior.  And it makes me wonder what other QC problems they're having (and glossing over).

Yes, I had the logo letters fall off my 2013 several times. The first time it was the "F," so for a while I was driving a "usion." I figured it was because of the intense heat here. But evidently it is just bad glue or something, so I would definitely take it to the dealer since it is a known problem.

If Ford won't fix it, threaten to have a "Chevrolet" logo put on!

I had mine fixed by the dealer once... it happened again and I just removed the whole thing... was a pain, but I like the look of it better.  The first time I had the F fall off of the door, and the I on the trunk.  This last time it was the I.

The one that fell off was the driver's side door... need to work on removing the passenger one. Was not fun getting all the glue off.

The "i" is hanging precariously on our passenger's door, and so I take it very easy when hand-washing the car.

I talked to the body shop manager at my local dealer about year ago, he said it was a common problem and that "they are just held on by double-sided tape"....

So if it falls off, I guess we will drive a "Fuson" for a while, maybe for a long while.....
