Faulty External Temperature Gauge - AGAIN?!

Hello all,

I was hoping to find out if this is a fault with my car, or a known fault across the line of cars. I have a faulty external temperature gauge read out. It sits at 50 degrees. This happened about 4 weeks ago and ford replaced the sensor. It has since worked but once again stopped working. It seems to sometimes read correctly and then randomly change with no warning. Currently it is stuck on the incorrect temperature. It was the same pattern before having it changed but it seems to new part is doing the same thing. Any advice on this? It is a shame as I love the car but had so many problems, I am tempted to ask ford for a replacement vehicle. Thank you :)
