Wifi Modem replacement requires trim replacement too?

What?

The TCU (Telematics Control Unit) [modem] is no where near either A pillar.  It's under the center of the package shelf, behind the rear seats, near the center speaker.  It has nothing whatever to do with WiFi.  It's a data transceiver that operates on the AT&T cell phone network.

Ok - Now I'm worried.  This is the same dealership that has put 6 quarts of oil in the car several times.  The first time they told me the Specifications and Capacities section of the Owners Manual was a misprint.

My modem replacement was completed today in probably 2 hours or so.  My paperwork does not mention trim replacements at all.  I did ask my service advisor if they had all the parts in.  His reply was that the technicians order everything that is listed for the modem replacement.  If trim has to be replaced they order that too.  Who knows what the correct answer is.
