Deezul Posted December 12, 2016 at 05:01 PM Report Share Posted December 12, 2016 at 05:01 PM I picked up a new 2016 on Saturday. I've been eyeballing the Fusion hybrid, but I checked the local dealership that morning, and they had a new Energi available with all the options I wanted. I've been driving a Mercury Mariner hybrid for about 4 1/2 years, so it's not my first hybrid, but it is my first plug in! I'm really liking it, especially this morning when I was able to do a short trip all on battery after getting a full charge last night. The price of a replacement charger means my car gets to stay in the garage now and my girlfriend's truck has been bumped outside. :) I live in a rental house, so I'm not going to get the 220V charger put in. Now to find a spare on eBay or the junkyards!
jeff_h Posted December 12, 2016 at 08:28 PM Report Share Posted December 12, 2016 at 08:28 PM Welcome... you will have less space than you did with the Mariner Hybrid, but the MPG on the Energi is much better than the Mariner even without the plug-in.
