Bluetooth Audio Streaming displaying

I think this is corrected on the Sync3 system, but does anyone know if there is a way to fix it on the 2013-2015 models?  I would like to have the audio information that is displayed on the entertainment quadrant when streaming bluetooth audio (title artist etc) on the entertainment screen next to the speedometer.  The data is displayed for radio information but only says Bluetooth Audio Streaming detected.

What version of the sync software are you running?  If it's old (3.6 or older), that's probably why.  I can play youtube videos and get that content shown on the display, which I found interesting.  Latest is 3.8.  There's also the potential that your phone just isn't sending that information over.  I'm running Android 6.0.2 on a Nexus 5.

I am running 3.8 and an iPhone 6s.  The song and artist info displays on the touch screen in the lower left quadrant and the radio page of the touch screen.  But it doesn't display that info on next to the speedometer when entertainment is selected, just BT stream.  I don't know why it can display radio station data there but not the BT audio.  Do you get the BT audio metadata displayed there?

The only "solution" is spending about $700 (not including programming tool) to throw out the MFT system and stick in Sync3, which is exactly what I did to the 2013 hybrid I traded in (as well as my 2015 Escape), though I swapped back MFT before doing the actual trade. If you plan to keep the car for a while, it's not a bad "investment" in terms of the "happiness" payoff.

I found this metadata thing VERY annoying too during the time I had MFT in my 2013 hybrid. I ended up reserving a USB stick just for music so I could see the track info on the cluster screen.
