gwking11 Posted February 27, 2017 at 04:30 PM Report Share Posted February 27, 2017 at 04:30 PM Does anyone know what causes the Red Triangle to light solid? And if there is a fix for that problem, or if parts are available for it aftermarket? I am now on my second fail OEM L1 charger. The first one I was lucky, and ford covered the charger under the goodwill program at the regional level, but I am afraid that this one will not be covered. I know there are aftermarket chargers available, but was wondering if anyone knows what causes this problem in the charger so I could fix it. I am pretty certain it would be a board swap, if that is even possible. Any help appreciated george
Timewellspent Posted February 27, 2017 at 09:36 PM Report Share Posted February 27, 2017 at 09:36 PM Do you unwind the cord all the way or just enough to reach your car? If you aren't unwinding all the way, it could just be overheating.

Have you tried a different outlet to see if you get the same error? My very first one that came with the car had issues shortly after purchasing the car. They replaced under warranty and I haven't had any issues yet with the new one.
