Thanks, RAHTOL. Great article.

Unfortunately I can't get one of these Level2 gizmos because I would first need a dedicated line that would cost $1k+ because I have a flat roof with no attic and they'd have to run the line up and over my roof to get to the power box on the opposite side of the house.

So, for the time being, I am really doing okay with the standard 120v wall outlet in my garage. The only problem I've run into is the circuit tripping when I turned on a space heater on the same line this Winter. But usually I just start the charging last thing before I go to bed at night and it works out well that way. In over a year's time, there's only been one situation where I needed to drive the car again after coming back home.

I would like to someday get a pure EV but I'll have to cross that bridge when I get to it.

Thanks.
