jeff_h Posted April 21, 2017 at 10:59 PM Report Share Posted April 21, 2017 at 10:59 PM I think that may be the light sensor to control when headlights come on when the switch is in auto - turn the car on during the day and cover that for a minute and see if the lights then come on. But as it gets darker, your instrument cluster and center stack will auto dim, unless your lights are off. It'll also even control the light output of your charge ring.
