Recall - Telematics Control Unit Reprogramming

Upon shortly installing FordPass this week, I notice an "Important Notice" icon. Called the local Ford dealership and am taking it in Wednesday morning for "reprogramming" (as the service rep stated). In the 10 days I have owned the vehicle (I purchased coming off corporate lease with 11.2k miles), this is my second visit to the dealership as I've had to replace a tire sensor and now the reprogramming. Any one else received this notice?  I am hoping and guessing it's a minor glitch

I had this same re-programming done to the TCU in mid-May when the vehicle's 12volt battery died on me (for the second time) - likely I caught this update right before the recall notice went out to everyone en masse. There's an update for the Audio Control Module as well which is for parasitic power drain; might want to acquire that update while at the dealer too.

My telematics unit was not transmitting properly until I did the reprogramming.  It would communicate with myfordmobile (website and app) for a couple weeks, then fail to communicate until it was reset.  After the reprogramming, it's been online 99% of the time.  I had it reprogrammed since the beginning of May.

There was a small quirk from the reprogramming that's probably limited to my car.  After it was reprogrammed, every time I started the car, it would try to "navigate home" on the built-in navi no matter what the settings were when I turned off the car.  I fixed that by deleting the home address, then adding it back in.
