It would go all the way up, and then 'bounce' back down about 1/2 way. It was like it was hitting something and auto reversing. I looked it up on online and it seems to be a pretty common problem with fords. The fix was easy - I just pressed and held the 'up' button for 10 seconds after it closed completely, and then pressed and held the down button for 10 seconds after it went all the way down. I guess it resets the expected maximum and minimum. The express up works fine now and the window stays up. It's really a minor problem but no reason to live with it if I don't have too.
