My Energi has "intelligent access" where you only have the FOB on you and to touch the handle and it unlocks.  I was washing the car this weekend, and I had the key FOB in my pocket.  As I'm rinsing the car, it keeps trying to unlock over and over again.  I realized that standing next to the car with the FOB in my pocket, with my hand on the water pistol (metal) the water was making the connection between me and the door handle and the car thought I was touching the handle!  I had to go put the FOB down somewhere else to finish washing the car.

Technology is great, until it's not.

I've had this exact same issue. stupid door unlocking repeatedly while i washed the car. i assumed it wasn't a really big problem. maybe a little extra wear and tear on the mechanism...
