Theberge82 Posted October 11, 2017 at 12:33 PM Report Share Posted October 11, 2017 at 12:33 PM (edited) After a full charge is the high voltage battery suppose to put out 7.6 KWh? Mine looks to be only putting out 5.5 KWh. Please see the attached picture and share your finding from your energi app. The dealership looked at my 2017 Fusion Energi yesterday and said it was working fine. I'm looking for the total KWh you use from a full battery to a dead High Voltage Battery. Thanks Stephen Edited October 11, 2017 at 01:05 PM by Theberge82
murphy Posted October 11, 2017 at 05:35 PM Report Share Posted October 11, 2017 at 05:35 PM You do not get 7.6kWh. 1.5 kWh is reserved for hybrid mode and an unknown amount is reserved for anti-bricking. A Li-ion battery will be destroyed if it is discharged to complete 0.
bdginmo Posted October 15, 2017 at 04:08 AM Report Share Posted October 15, 2017 at 04:08 AM There's nothing wrong. You should expect about 5.4 kwh to the point it switches to hybrid mode under ideal conditions for a like-new battery. If conditions aren't ideal it could be as low as 4.8 kwh. I usually get another 0.2-0.3 kwh out of it before the engine actually kicks on.
