ONLY "EV Only"

Hello All,

2017 FFE.

Its cold here in Southern Ontario.  Today its -13C (15F).

Is there a way to force the car to ONLY use "EV Only" setting?

I understand the 3 available settings, but if I have a very short trip in town, even with a full charge (much more than needed to get there and back), the ICE will still kick in.

The orange light comes up saying ICE is enabled to help performance.

When I know that I am only going a short distance and have more than enough charge, including heating, is there a way that I can lock out the ICE?

Thank you,

Vin

What setting are you in?  You said 2 settings, but there are three.  Auto, EV Now, EV Later.

That was a typo, sorry.  I know there are 3 settings.

I am in EV Now mode.

It just bugs me to see the ICE come on when I am only going a few Kms when I know there is plenty of battery charge.

Thanks for all the responses.

Vin
