I have been thinking lately about finding ways to maximize the range of my FFE in all electric mode. I understand that it's unlikely that we will find larger and more powerful battery packs for our cars, but what about engine tuning? I do know that ford changed up the ECM tuning for the '17 model, increasing the expected range (even though it's only a mile). My question is: Would there be any way to flash this modified programming to the ECM? I guess this would really be akin to a tuning module. I don't expect much to come from this, but thought i'd ask!
