greasenerd Posted March 3, 2024 at 07:02 AM Report Share Posted March 3, 2024 at 07:02 AM (edited) Hi, my daughter has a 2016 Energi SE with a P2601 code according to FORScan. The dealer claims it has a coolant leak and that lack of coolant killed the auxiliary heater. They want $2500 to replace the hose, the heater, and a coolant flush. Has anyone heard of lack of coolant killing the aux heater? That just doesn’t sound right. The mechanic didn’t care about the code and said “he just knew” (red flag). It had not had on overheat situation yet. From what I have read this is usually a relay, the pump or wires. In looking up the fuse boxes I don’t see a relay for the coolant pump. Any pointers in the right direction are appreciated. Edited March 3, 2024 at 07:03 AM by greasenerd
