Key FOB - How to open and get manual key

So I can use the spare physical key that came with the car to open the driver door.  Simple once you realize you use the tip of the key to press in a bit, then slide the lock cover toward the back of the car.  Lucky I was at home where that extra key was.  NOW the big question is what if I'm out on the road and not at home?  Is there a physical key hidden in the key FOB's themselves?  If so...how do you get the key out?

Simply hold the FOB so you are looking at the lock and unlock buttons and they are pointed 'up'.  Now turn the FOB over.  You see a lit notch with a slot in it.  Press a key or something 'gently' into that slot so you are sliding the notch toward the other end of the FOB.  It just needs to go a little bit.  Once you get this to move, you are now able to 'split' the FOB in half.  It opens to reveal a small physical key which you can use on the drivers door.  Remember to remove the cover as mentioned above in the first section.  Make sure to put the key back in the exact same way when finished, and, gently snap the cover back together.

Does anyone know how to unlock all 4 doors through keyless entry at the driver door? I know unlocking any of the other 3 doors does it but when I walk up to my car with other people, they have to wait for me to open my door and unlock theirs from the inside. What am I missing?

Sure, you can set the to always open all doors. Left panel under Options - Locks - Remote Unlocking -- All Doors.

It is a safety feature, so is set to drivers door by default.

From the manual under Locking and Unlocking:

Unlocking the Doors (Two-Stage

Unlock)

E138629

Press the button to unlock the

driver’s door.

Press the button again within

three seconds to unlock all doors. The turn

signals will flash.

Press and hold both the lock and unlock

buttons on the remote control for three

seconds to change between driver's door

or all doors unlock mode. The turn signals

will flash twice to indicate the unlocking

mode was changed. Driver's door unlock

mode will only unlock the driver's door

when the unlock button is pressed once.

All door unlock mode will unlock all doors

with one press of the unlock button. The

unlocking mode will be applied to the

remote control, keyless entry keypad and

intelligent access. The mode can also be

changed in the information display. See

General Information (page 83).
