Ceramic Leather Interior

I was at my dealer today for service when a delivery of 3 new Fusions arrived.  I was fascinated watching the delivery guy off load the cars; I had never observed this process before.

One was a Titanium Energi in White Tri-Coat with the ceramic interior.  I did not get to see it up close, but once the car was off loaded and parked, the driver's door was open and I could see the color.  It makes the interior 2 tone since only the seats and door panels above the arm rests are ceramic.  Everything else remains black/charcoal.  The color is very light and almost matches the headliner color.  Visually I thought it was very nice, but for me it would be impractical.  I just know I would be constantly be inspecting for dirt.   :)

I personally wanted something else besides black, but it wasn't a dealbreaker.  I would've preferred tan or gray.  My Expedition has a tan leather interior which is really nice, but as it has aged, the driver's seat is now a bit darker and it gets really dark in the leather creases as it has stretched.  Still... the older it gets, the softer it gets.  I compare it to driving a couch when I go on long trips. :)  I make sure I clean my leather every 3 months.

I'm glad they came out with a new interior color.. I don't like black interiors, but that was the only thing available with the 13 energi titanium. I thought Ford had some strange color combinations and choice limitations for the energi and titanium. I think the Ceramic, Brick and maybe a Tan interior would be great as options for the Titanium seats.. may have to swap my 13 in for a newer one if they ever have a clear way to buy good color options!

That is what I got as well... The 2014 Fusion Titanium Energi White Platinum Tri-Coat with Ceramic Leather Interior. What a nice car, I must say. I have had the car about 3 weeks now and thought the interior was going to be too light in color. But, when I open the door and look inside before climbing in, I love the interior more and more. I made the right choice.

Wish I could post up a pic or two, but the website keeps telling me upload box or something like that is full... I have tried it a couple times now...

Worked out a great deal on a 2014 Titanium at our local dealer but we wanted Ingot Silver with Ceramic interior so we ran a locate. There were only 4 total in No. California and only 2 with moonroofs (compared to well over 100 White Platinum with Ceramic). Got the car Friday and it's really a great combination. Adds a unique style to the interior PLUS keeps the seats cooler in the sun (got the cooling seats too which is way "cool"). Happy to have a rare Fusion!

I found this 2014 Energi Titanium for sale at Carmax in Duarte, California. This Carmax usually has fully loaded vehicles that other Carmax do not.

It seems to have every option except Active Park Assist. Ceramic interior and already has the HOV stickers on it. Ruby Red which is also an extra cost.

It is listed as just a Ford Fusion Titanium, not even a Hybrid much less as an Energi for $33,988. If they sell it at that price I think it is a fantastic buy! Only 5k miles!

Does anyone know of anyone that has been looking for an Energi??

I don't know that I owuld consider that a fantastic buy.  I'm looking at a 2015 Energi w/ pretty much everything except active park and moonroof and it's going to be under $38K before factory incentives and then you add the federal (and state for some of us) rebates on top of that I'll be coming quite a bit under that $34K.  I would still be under that 34K if I added the moonroof, and that's for a new car.

I just brought home a 2014 Energi Titanium White tri-coat with the Ceramic interior.  Not a white fan but the interior was so nice I ditched the black on black and Charcoal Grey on black that I was considering.  My girl friend looked at all three cars and said the White one is the classiest, and the grey one looks like a Prius, so I went with the white :)  I too think Ford should offer more exciting interior color combo's as the contrasting colors look so much better. The 2015 has a Red Brick and a Natural Leather option (think King Ranch color) that both look good.  Tired of the all black interiors that Ford offers, especially since Ford's black is charcoal not really black.

Bob, my dream color combo and in all of SoCal not a single one to be found!!  Literally over 100 black on black but no black on ceramic...really surprised as it's such a nice color combo that more dealers don't order this combo!!  Another sweet looking combo is the "Dark Side" with the ceramic interior, I saw only one and it was already sold :(

I just picked up a 2014 Certified Pre Owned Titanium Entergi with the ceramic interior. The car has 50,000 and the ceramic interior looks great! I had to put some leather cream on the seats but otherwise it doesn't show too much dirt. I have honestly been more worried about the dirt that shows up on the black carpet. I will keep everyone posted if it stays that way.  :bliss:
