Paint is peeling off after 5.5 months of ownership

On our white car you can see some spots where the gasket between the body panels sticks out a little, no paint issues. One FFH owner had paint peeling in (I think) the exact same spot on his car. The dealer repaired it under warranty. His paint defect there was present at delivery. He said it was due to bolts being overtightened at the factory.

Wow that IS noticeable. Dilemma is going to be do you have them repaint the entire bumper fascia or can they touch it up?  Sometimes when parts of a car are repainted they fade at different rates than the factory paint and become noticeable after a few years...sorry for you and good luck.  How about finding a new FFE on the lot same color and having your dealer swap the bumper fascia, never mind, I'm sure they wouldn't do that.  I purchased a new 2011 Lincoln MKX in tuxedo black and the wash guy smacked the front passenger side into a pole as he was bringing it up for me to drive away!  It was the only black with Canyon interior in SoCal and I was not a happy camper.  They offered to repaint, I said no I want a new front clip, grill, lower fog light, etc from another on the lot and they did it.

Go rent the same car/color and then well ;)   Just kidding...really!!
