socalsho Posted January 9, 2015 at 07:18 PM Report Share Posted January 9, 2015 at 07:18 PM So, we have owned the car for about a month. My wife drives it daily, I drive it on occassion. As I drove home from work, which is 25 miles on the freeway, I noticed I had to constantly, subtley, fight for control of the wheel. As I often drive on the left side of the lanes to leave leave room for motorcycles to split the lanes, it was a chore. I looked at the dash to make sure the system was off (on the stalk-no display on the dash) as well as turning everything off on the menu. So it was that way for 25 miles. I stopped to pick up some food on the way home, and discovered the wheel much easier to move on the slower drive on streets. It seems to me as though the system never deactivated. Has anyone else heard of or noticed a similar problem of the system not turning off? Sounds like a trip to the dealer. Hopefully they can re-create the problem, but they never can on my SHO. Maybe just a fuse pull and re-set the system.

Has anyone else heard of or noticed a similar problem of the system not turning off? Nope, haven't heard of that -- did you cycle the function on and back off a couple times? If so, when you had it turned on was it behaving as expected?
socalsho Posted January 11, 2015 at 10:20 PM Author Report Share Posted January 11, 2015 at 10:20 PM Yes I did cycle it. Wife says it did not do it for her the next day though. guess it was just a computer hiccup, just something to keep an eye on I guess. Rhynri Posted January 12, 2015 at 04:16 PM Report Share Posted January 12, 2015 at 04:16 PM Was there a crosswind, or was the road crowned (excessively, that is). I think that the fusion will correct for both of those, and that could be what you felt. Just a thought.
