What a fun topic!

Lost my early pictures to a fire, but here are my cars.

1st truck was a (used) 1977 Datsun Lil Hustler (Yellow with black stripes)

2nd car (used) 1976 MG Midget special Also yellow. Both this car and the truck were shared with my Father, traded back and forth at age 16.

3rd car was a (used) 1978 Toyota Celica. Drove that car into the ground at 178,000 miles. Traded it in on the first truck I bought myself  ...

4th truck (new) 1984 Nissan pickup and this got me through college.

5th car I bought my senior year in college a (new) 1988 Nissan Pulsar NSX. I wanted the Toyota MR2 really bad, but I was too big for it.

Pulsar NSX 1988

6th car was a (used) 1993 BMW 325is

I've had several bikes... can't find many photos. I still have this Rare 1988 JDM (Japanese) YSR 80. There are very few in the US and the US models were 50's.

ysr_zps0dce8242.jpg

I've had several over the years, but this is the only 80 I've owned.

We got it from Japan in about 1994 when I was 14 and it was shipped here in a crate via airplane.

Here it is in about 2001 with my Triumph TT600

This is it today. Mods are lift kit, wheels & tires, new seats, finished dash, painted roof, billet steering wheel, and some speed mods (it went 11 mph stock and goes about 25 mph now)

89 Chevy Beretta GT (No A/C in TX.. that sucked)

94 Pontiac Grand Am

94 Ford Ranger (4Cyl, Manual)

00 Ford Ranger (V6 Auto, much less fun to drive)

01 Ford Escape

03 S2000 (Still own, so much fun to drive)

06 Mercedes CLS500 (First taste od smart key and seat heaters... addicted for life! German cars on the other hand... not so much)

12 Kia Sorento SX AWD (For Sale - Also has smart key, heated seats and much more.. a little less fun to drive)

15 Ford Fusion Energi (Custom ordred)

My initial thought was you've had a ton of cars but I guess I'm averaging just over 1.5 yrs/car  I plan to keep the Fusion (and S2000) for a long time to come though :D

I find it really interesting seeing what everyone currently drives and has driven.  Adding pictures (I have a few) would just make this post too huge.  Here is my list:

1970 VW bug (used)

1975 Dodge Colt 4 Dr (used)

1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham (used)

1987 Toyota MR2 (used)

1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo (used)

1994 Ford Ranger XLT (NEW!)

2003 Ford Ranger 4x4 (used)

2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid (used)

As a 2 car household I also had:

1996 Subaru Loyale Wagon (used)

2000 Subaru Outback (new)

2000 Toyota Tacoma TRD (new)

2005 Subaru Outback (new)

2005 Toyota Prius (new)

2003 BMW 525i (used)

2002 Honda Civic EX (used)

Current:

2009 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport (used)

2013 Ford Fusion Energi (new)

The Prius was my first car with a smart key - I thought it was the neatest thing.  It was also my first car with bluetooth, navigation and an in dash 6 disc changer.  But, man was it boring to drive!  My Subarus showed my how good All Wheel Drive is if you don’t have a 4x4.  The MR2’s were just so much fun to drive.  The Altima Hybrid was loaded and was my first vehicle with “luxury items” like leather and heated seats.  So my Energy had to have all those items and more.  :)

1989 Chevy Blazer 4.3 A/T (cost me 25 cents!) - Most comfortable seats I ever sat in.
1995 Chevy Cavalier M/T - Still kicking, at 200k miles.
1995 & 2000 Camaro Z28 M/T - Just not as fun to drive as the cavalier, even if they did have a lot more power.  I like corners and gravel roads.

2004 Jetta TDI M/T - I love how these sound.  Great little car.

2010 Jetta TDI DSG (new) - After the army jacked up my knee.

2013 Jetta Sportwagen TDI DSG (new) - So much cargo space.  Very punchy, fun car to drive. put 36k on then found the fusion.

2015 Fusion Energi - Aww yeah....

I'll also include my beloved 1986 FJ1200, even though it wasn't a car.  I'll never forgive the woman who merged into the space I was occupying and destroyed it.  Ran me right over.  There is a warm place in hell for drivers like that.

I cross shopped the Avalon as well, it is a nice car. Also ran into a dealer that I did not like but fortunately for me there were several more dealerships in my area.

I've mentioned in other posts that I keep my cars a long time.  My list is short and this is including the wife's car:

1969 Mercury Cougar (used)

1984 Chevy Blazer (used)

1997 Ford F250 Crew (used)

2007 Ford Escape Hybrid (new)

2015 Ford Fusion Energi (used)

The only one I don't still own is the Blazer.  My wife drives the Escape, and I will have to pry it from her cold dead hands if I want to replace it.

The Energi is the only one below 100K miles, and the Cougar is over 300K.

PS: Why do some of the photos show fine and others have an graphic saying "please update your account to allow 3rd party hosting"?  Is that an issue with my account, or the poster's, or with the fusionenergiforum web site?

I hosted my photos from this site, and they are still showing. The ones that have issues are hosted from another site.

My 2013 GT350.  Shelby American produced 36 GT350's in 2013, with 12 being convertibles.  Only one was a widebody convertible, and mine is that car.  624HP with the six speed manual.

80-badonkadonk3_zpsjbp04ziy_f6843dcda39c

What a ride!  I'd be happy with winding out a V6 stick, that must be phenomenal.

None of my rides cost me more than $6,600, until I bought the Fusion.

'57 Ford Fairlane convertible

'58 Chevy Biscayne (no reverse, had to park uphill)

'71 Chevy Vega (only new car in my life, first engine lasted 35K miles, 2nd lasted 30K)

'76 Alfa Romeo Spider

'68 Ford Fairlane (inherited, 3 on the tree, no options, not even a radio). + Alfa

'74 Ford Pinto Wagon + Alfa

'74 VW Beetle + Alfa

'86 Mazda B2000 pickup + Alfa

'82 Alfa Romeo Spider + Mazda pickup

'88 Mazda 626 + Alfa

'98 Jeep Cherokee + Mazda + Alfa

2017 FFE + Jeep + Alfa

Total first cost, before the FFE purchase, was ~$32K, (~$35K if I include five motorcycles).  All vehicles except the Vega (and current Alfa and FFE) reached at least 100K miles, and were given away or junked.  Is this the worst list or what?!  Although the Beetle and Alfas and Jeep were kinda cool.
