Bulb out warnings? Which fixtures have it?

Hi Recce93, sounds like you installed the Philips Ultinon LEDs, which I tried @18W. No bulb out warnings from my H11 fogs or H11 low beam headlights. Note that Philips Ultinon LEDs are not bright enough to use as headlights.

I did install an LED PWY24W in my turn signals, which turned out to be white instead of amber so I removed it again. It drew about 10-12W and the instrument cluster turn indicator blinks fast, but the LED bulb blinks at a regular rate.

I also installed a 5W COB LED in the 194 running light socket near the high beam and no warnings from it.

They were generic brand from eBay. Replaced the rear 921s with white LEDs as well. For the headlights, I cannot stand the amber reflector in US cars so I purchased Mondeo style headlights with the led light pipe. The low beams are 35w HIDs and the high beams are crazy bright LED. I was shocked at how bright. The whites all match close enough. Getting them close is always the hardest part.

I wish ford would have eliminated the incandescent bulbs in the Energi model. Not saying in save enough energy, but feels like the right style for and Eco car.

As far as the blinker goes, I remember reading in one of the posts about how the dash indicator still hyper flashes. These new cars aren't a simple relay swap to fix it like it used to be. I would have liked the white flasher IMHO.

Glad you swapped out 194 bulb without any issue. I think that one drove me the craziest. The color was horrible on the OEM bulb.

Recce93; I looked at these ebay lights quite a bit, and just returned from the LV SEMA show closely examining lights there (none found for 2G Fusion). How bright are the amber and white LED elements built into those lights? How do you rate the quality of those light fixtures?

Which H7 LEDs did you install for high beams?

I would rate them at about 95 percent OEM quality.  I was worried about it but they are really well made and the projector HID cutoff is perfect and adjusts easily.  There are two screw clips on the headlights (same as the OEM) but the Chinese clips I would say are not as good.  If it wasn't for those, i wouldn't be able to tell they were not OEM.  Installation was easy from the light perspective.  As you know working with our cars it is a PIA because of Fords design.

For the LEDs, the amber is bright enough but could be brighter.  Or, better yet (and this is the biggest complaint about this model) is the white LED, when on, does not turn off when the directional is used which makes the amber led a little harder to see.  No issue seeing it at all if the white light pipe isn't on and the chasing directional feature is awesome.  The pictures of the LEDs on eBay do not do it justice.  From the front they are just as bright as an OEM version out there.  Dimmer from the side but still visible during the day.

There are two models of these on eBay and after talking with the seller, I got the M2 version which has the LED installed for the HID already and I am not sure it is user serviceable but should last my lifetime.  The part was (SY-F-M2) and here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171725263609?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I offered 640 for them and he agreed.  The pictures are taken with a filter on the site I think so you can see it.  The high beams are white LED and NOT yellowish like they appear on the site.

I thought of trying to bake my old ones but I think I would over cook that project.
