Rear Camera Won't Shut-Off

For the last few days, whenever I backup to leave a parking space, the rear view camera is shown on the display. But when I then shift into Drive and start moving forward, the camera view stays on! I can keep driving and see what's behind me!! So, it's still broadcasting live.

The only way to turn it off is to place the knob in Park, then the regular screen comes back. I turn it to Drive and everything's back to normal.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I wonder if it's due to the new rotary knob shifter???

What Murphy said, but I don't think it is a time thing, but speed.  If you stay under 5mph or something like that it will stay on until you go over that speed, but this doesn't sound like the issue you are having as I assume you are going faster then that and it is still not shutting off?

Actually, I'm not sure about either the time or speed. I will certainly make a note of it on the way home from work, today.

But, this just started happening. A few days ago, I'd be at a complete stop as I'm transitioning from backing out of a parking place to shifting to drive and moving forward. The display would immediately shift back to the infotainment system.

This is what has me concerned.

Is there a place to turn the delay on and off? I might have accidently turned it on, as I've been getting to know the infotainment's system and going through the menus and screens, etc.

Edit: I did a quick check on the internet and learned about the rear camera delay setting. I may have inadvertently turned it on.

Thanks for your help, guys!!
