Has Ford killed the C-Max Energi for 2018?

I happened to be on the Ford website today, and noticed that they do not list the C-Max Energi for 2018.  I had not heard any announcements about this, so I was kinda surprised.  Anyone else know anything?

Here's a couple links showing what I'm talking about.  only lists 2017 Energi for C-Max:

I spoke with Jay over at Insideevs.com and he felt that this is merely an inventory situation.  They are holding out on the 2018's until they reduce stock on the 2017's.  This is potentially confirmed by the fact that he found a production start date for the 2018 C-max Energi of Oct 9.  So it is likely they just started making them, and we'll see them listed in a few weeks.

Mystery (potentially) solved.

Even in the Detroit area, where one can find well-preserved examples of just about any American car, including flops from Pontiac and Saturn, the C-Max is nearly non-existent on the road. Not surprised that they'd kill the model for North America.

And yeah I agree that the pre-facelift model was extremely ugly. Pick one nose or the other, not both!
