Alexa Integration

Hi I was just wondering if anyone knows about the Alexa working inside the vehicle? My echo at home I can talk to Alexa and she will start my vehicle and give me all the information mileage, tire pressure, etc. However I can't seem to get Alexa to work inside the vehicle. I've seen numerous press releases about it, hard to tell if it is supposed to even work yet? I'm not sure that is why I'm posting here! Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

I have asked the same question and never seen an answer.  I have never seen the Alexa app show up in the apps part of Sync. I would say at this time it only works one way.  Alexa -> Vehicle.  But things shown in Ford's Alexa video, like turning on lights, setting the home temperature, or opening the garage door, all from inside the car, do not actually work yet.

Curious if you could please list all the Alexa commands you've found so far.  All I've been able to do is lock/unlock and start the vehicle.

Just called into the MyFordMobile team @1-800-392-3673 and they indicated that the Alexa integration inside the vehicle isn't out yet and they will post a press release on the website when integration works. He also indicated a bunch of people have been having problems with the MyFordMobile App, he said you should delete the app off the phone and do a master reset on Sync if you're having communication issues. He then indicated you should go on the website and upgrade to the latest Sync Version for your vehicle.

 I can do everything that is indicated inside the Alexa App which is;

Start and Stop vehicle

Lock and unlock vehicle

Check vehicle range - hybrid and gas range

Check current odometer reading

Confirm tire pressure is in the correct range

Battery state
