If you use your left hand to open a driver side door or your right hand to open a passenger side door make sure that your thumb doesn't land on the door lock sensor.

The way that almost always unintentionally locks for me is if I walk from the back of the car toward the driver's door and grab forward toward the handle with my right hand (holding drink or whatever in left hand), seems to lock it almost every time when I don't want it to, and like murphy notes is probably from landing on that sensor accidentally.
