  1. I have an issue once in a while on my 2015 when the outside temps get in the low teens or below, the display says 50 and the heat will stop coming out the HVAC, because the car thinks it is 50 degrees out. I have had it into the dealership more than a dozen times and they have never been able to fix the issue after many attempts. I don't get how they can't figure out the cause and have a fix for it. I have learned to live with it, but if mine was showing -40 and the outside temps were in the 90's and not being able to get AC, I would not ignore the issue. Good luck with your issue. If you get a fix, please post what the solution is.
  2. Glad to hear the battery replacement solved your issue. Sorry to hear about the Volt!
  3. I would have the dealer you purchased from put in a new 12v battery (for free) and see if that solves your issue.
  4. When you unplug after charging, are you holding the button down for a couple seconds or are you just pressing and pulling the cord out right away?
  5. Thanks. It hasn't come back on yet, but nice to know that it is a known issue.
  6. Thanks for the reply. That is what I figured I would do. Light was still off today so I will wait for it to come back on before I take it in.
  7. So on Friday, my 2015 Energi had the engine light come on while I was driving home. I didn't drive the car over the weekend and forgot about it. Yesterday it was on for my drive to and from work, but this morning when I drove in it was off. Is this something I should still have checked out or should I wait and see if it comes back on. The Generic code description is "Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump Motor Current Low".
  8. There was a recall for these, but not sure if your year was included. See here
  9. That was the on/off I was referring too. Glad you got it working.
  10. Yes, but there is a master on/off button as well. Look in the upper right corner of go time schedule screen. Maybe toggle that on/off button?
  11. There is also an on off setting. Have you checked to make sure that shows as on?
  12. I don't have the visor opener, but certain times of the year in the morning I have the issue with my handheld and it is due to the sun hitting the reverse sensor blocking the beam. Since your handheld still works, than that obviously isn't your issue.
  13. Does it happen with just the visor buttons or with the handheld opener as well?
  14. Mine were really bad on the painted crosswalks as well when wet. Being first at the red light and starting out when green will cause the tires to spin on the crosswalk markings. Also turning through an intersection the car would actually slide across the big white crosswalk squares again when wet.
  15. I tested mine today at almost 72k miles: 4.3 kWh and 17.0 miles from Full to switch over to hybrid. I still charge 2.5 times a day using the 115v EVSE. I charge from 2am to full. I drive to work using the full charge and charge from 9am until I run out for lunch. Usually around 3/4 full charge and don't use it all on my trip. Plug back in when I return and charge to 100% for drive home using the full charge. This is how not to prolong life :)
  16. I still have the originals on my 2015 with 69,314 miles. I run at 38psi 3 over the recommended tire pressure. No need to run at unsafe 50 psi that has been recommended. I rotate around every 10k miles and tread is still good and even. I plan to replace them this year before winter with Michelin Defenders. As stated prior the Energy Savers really do stink in the rain.
  17. My dealer tried to tell me I needed spark plugs at 60K service. I don't know if he was using the regular Fusion schedule or what, but I did not replace the plugs which isn't due until 100K miles.
  18. You could get one of these so you don't have to lay the EVSE on the ground. https://store.clippercreek.com/cable-management/sae-j1772-connector-holster
  19. I have a 2015 and once in awhile it will charge for a bit when I first plug in and then shut off until my value charge time. Sometimes it will charge fully too without waiting for my value time. Not sure why either of those happen. I have value charge set for at home from 1am to 6am, but at work I use default and have it charge when plugged in. Even though my electric costs the same all day, I do the value charge at night so I'm not charging a hot battery all the time and also have it run the fans to help cool the battery before it starts to charge.
  20. I did a test with my 2015 on Wednesday. 65,700 miles on the car. Estimated Range before leaving home said 23 miles. I used 4.3 kWh and made it 16.4 miles before the car switched to hybrid mode. This morning my car says estimated range of 29 miles. I know that will never happen so this number means nothing. I would say the kWh used means more and I am surprised you were told not to judge the battery on this number.
  21. Post a screen shot from MFM showing how much battery is being used from full charge to empty. This is what I'm asking for:
