  1. I sent AmazingE an email asking about service. Their website didnt make any mention of it though. Clipper Creek and AmazingE appear to be Parent/Child companies, as far as I can tell.
  2. Well, turns out my local ford will not replace my faulty cable. I returned the original cable back in April 2019, and I'm over the 12,000 miles on the new cable. I understand why they want to replace the old faulty cables, but I'm furious because my old one worked, and now the new one has failed, right at the warranty mark.. They want over $400 for a new cable. So, has anyone purchased a non-Ford version? There seems to be a lot of them for sale on various sites, even Walmart! Amazon has quite a few as well, for under $200. As long as they are J1772 correct? I am charging via 120V, type 1, if that is any help.
  3. Ok, I had to look at a 2019 manual to find the right info, as my 2015 manual refers to the old charge cable. I've attached the applicable page. I dont remember now if the power light is on or not, as that will make the difference in being a Ground fault, or Cord fault. Sad thing is my local dealer couldnt find this info to tell me...
  4. The current outlet at my home and the one I checked at work had been charging the vehicle for nearly a year now. But I checked various outlets around my home as well. I know that doesnt completely eliminate the possibility, but I fairly certain the outlet is not the issue any more.
  5. So I’m fairly certain it isn’t the outlet, as I have taken the cable and plugged it into various outlets, including one with a gfci reset, and higher amperage versions at my work. I’m thinking there’s a fault in the cable?
  6. I’ve got the new charging cable now, after ford replaced the old recalled version. Today, I noticed I have no charge. The green light is on steady, but the red light blinks five times, then pauses and begins again. I called my ford dealership and they said they would have to call me back because they didn’t know. Any internet search with various terms results in info on the old charger with the triangle fault light. Anyone know what the status indicator means? I tried searching on here for this topic too but was unable to find it, so hopefully I’m not creating clutter with a new thread. I have a 2015 Fusion Energi btw.
  7. Just jumped on here, hoping to learn more about this interesting car of mine. Seems like I learn new stuff daily. It is a 2015 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium, Deep Impact Blue, 30,000 miles. I went from a 1999 Dodge Dakota 4WD V8 to this, now 14MPG to 100MPG. Pretty much loving it.
