  1. That is a stunning number of Energi's at 1 dealer. My dealer has 1. Used. Those have already depreciated a lot but you might ask about 2019 also. No difference as far as I can tell and if it were 3-4-5k less I'd personally probably go that route. Oops? I can't sleep and didn't notice this is months old....
  2. I really like my 17 Platinum. Most dealers ask 20k (depends on miles) and you might find it as low as 17k. So your 15 residual is good to excellent. I have seen a number of 2019's coming on the market for a lower price than some 17's. So you could trade or even sell your 17 and get a 19 for say 18.5k (good price, most are more) with lower miles and remaining warranty. Comes in titanium trim, no parking assist but better battery. Anyway I wouldn't turn the 17 in because you only owe what seems like wholesale. How many cars does your family need? How tight is money? There's always other factors ? PS I bought an extended warranty on mine for peace of mind. 5 yr 100k around $1500. If you keep it needs to be done at 41 months or 41k miles. Add that perhaps into calculation. I think they're nice cars in Platinum trim. Almost Lincoln level. Only upgrade to a 19 or 20 is battery and warranty. Downgrade is trim and more money. My 3¢ and honestly worth less ?
  3. I've also found this really useful. It would help in your case if you're concerned about putting stress on your outlet. Hope this is just a regular link. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FC9M4YF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_eGU8EbP1K0KAN You can just look up J1772 holster on Amazon or eBay.....
  4. My white head one that I got with a used 2017 Platinum flashed the red exclamation mark from day one. Very occasionally it wouldn't finish a charge with an error. I finally had the dealer look at it and they replaced it under the hybrid warranty. Said it had a faulty wire. Maybe it's at their discretion. I use it mostly at 240v btw though the behavior was identical on either voltage. The new black one works great under both voltages too. I was ready to buy one of the $150 ones off eBay or Amazon though. I can perhaps find the receipt and upload it, it was just the other day.
  5. Murphy is right. Do you need 50 ft? 12 or 10 gauge is best. I carry a high quality 25 ft 12 ga. in my trunk for when it's necessary. The concern is for the cord and not the car. So no foul so far.
  6. Just for posterity there is a TSB about this. I think 46840. Some 2017 Fusion Energi Plug-In Hybrid and MKZ Hybrid vehicles built on or before 20-Apr-2017 may exhibit a brake moan noise from the rear when backing up on the first application in the morning. To resolve this concern, replace the rear brake pads with a new brake pad kit part number DG9Z-2200-R. The brake pad kit contains a unique grease packet which must be used in conjunction with the new brake pads to resolve the concern. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 206-00 for installation. For claiming, use causal part 2200 and applicable labor operations in section 2 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual.
  7. You can turn that off by the way ? (talking of the warning but I ended up turning off the lane keep also. Too annoying). By the way it would be wonderful if we could simply update some software to change it. I put new version of Sync in my 2017 Platinum and really enjoy it.
