Hello, at 90000 mile, i had check engine came on.Bring it to 3 garage( 2 dealers Ford and a garage), code P0420.
I decided to take no action, the cost to change the catalytic converter its around 1500$, no covered by the warany. The error code came on and of and is having no time schedule.
For example this summer went off .With the cold seasons he came on , and is stays on few days , after that is off for a week , and so on.
The report from dealers says that the code P0420 is the problem.So to solve the problem i have to change catalytic converter.
Now the car has 101.000 miles and no warranty.Did anyone had this issue? What should i do?Any suggestions?
