  2. i charge my battery with the L1 charger and the dashboard battery indicator usually shows 26 or 27 miles after fully charging.. what causes the battery to charge to different capacities? my friend says his battery is only charging to about 15 "miles" and he has been using an L2 charger since day 1. so why would mine charge to 27 and his only 15? he is getting crappy gas mileage too since he " hit the brakes really hard" one day and get some message on the screen saying something like ECHO???
  3. as far as the warning messages.... FORD sent me this response: I see that there is an update available for your system - Gen2 - V3.6. Please install the update, and that should resolve the issue. ok.. so how do I do this?
  4. i keep getting emails and texts saying...your vehicle is scheduled to start charging soon and needs to be plugged in.. I dont have anything setup to charge the vehicle at specific times.. just started today.. i also notice that if you activate the red button (so that the horn beeps) on the key fob, I get a message saying your vehicle had an accidental unplug while charging... It was not charging though!
  5. OK. That worked. You just can't download the plugin app like I was using before. It has to be the myford mobile app only
  6. I didnt delete the old app but it auto updated and only shows the popup about the new app. Using an android phone. Ford screwed this one up!!

  8. when was the new myfordmobile released? i wouldnt know if i was using the new or old one..
  9. any ideas as to why sometimes my battery charges to 26 miles and other times its 25...one time it charged to 27 miles.. what affects the level of charge?
  10. so guess something is wrong.. guess they expect their customers to just wonder if the site is down or not.. ford said it didnt matter if the car is in the garage because it works thru cell towers..

Is the website having issues again??? cant update my charge or see my last trip and charge log.. saying last updated a few hours ago for my charge and trip and charge log is only showing the last charging info from last night. They should really put a note or something on there so customers know when there are site issues..
  12. Make sure the o's are zeroes.. once you register you have to wait to get a second message in the car before everything becomes active
  13. Is this site down? i keep getting a service or network error whether i uses my smartphone or laptop
